Jeanne M. Moreau, 95, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on October 15th. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert B. Moreau. They were happily married for over 40 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Rene and Dora (Mercier) Courtemache.
Jeanne's career journey started at Standard Thread, where she dedicated her time and skills before transitioning to Texas Instruments, where she worked diligently until her well-deserved retirement. Beyond her professional life, she cherished moments spent dining out and relished the company of her sisters and sisters-in-law, fostering strong family bonds. Additionally, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying scratch tickets, frequent visits to Twin River Casino, bingo, and entertainment by Polka Paul and Bombshell Betty. She also enjoyed her time at The Friendly Home.
She is survived by a loving son, Paul E. Moreau and his wife Cynthia; three grandchildren, Katie and her husband Marvin, Kerrie, and Michael Moreau; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ernest Courtemache, Theresa White, and Cecile Turenne.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, October 20th from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00am at Resurrection Cemetery, 261 West Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Please meet directly at the cemetery chapel.
